Festivals of Canada Coin Design

This was the winning design for the 2002 Festivals of Canada Calgary Stampede collector coin. The Royal Canadian Mint wanted a "unique, contemporary look" for the coin, so they chose my design. At the 11th hour, due to political pressure from the Stampede manager, the Mint had to cancel the production of this coin. Apparently the RCM had "misinterpreted" his preferences…
